PRICING ON WAYVILO
Clear prices. A fair comparison.
Choose your stay length, compare booking options and confirm your chosen stay with the provider.
For travelers
Browsing cards always show a five-night direct stay total. When a linked third-party price is higher, the savings badge shows the difference for those same five nights. We compare direct with the cheapest linked booking site that has a price entered, so the savings we show are never overstated. No channel price means no savings claim.
On the comparison page, enter how many nights you want to stay. Totals, direct-booking savings and per-person costs update for that length. Saved and shared comparisons remember the number of nights. Property pages opened from a comparison use the same stay length. Both pages also show the entered cost per night. Prices are in US dollars. Optional extras and refundable deposits may be additional; check the property’s policies and the provider’s checkout.
Owners and managers enter prices themselves. Wayvilo does not sync prices or availability live. Rates may change with your dates, party size and booking terms, so the amount shown is an estimate, not a confirmed reservation quote. We multiply the nightly rate by your chosen number of nights, add each required per-stay or per-night charge, then apply the entered tax rules. When the owner confirms fees are already included in a nightly rate, they are not added again. Unconfirmed fees are clearly labeled. Minimum stays, conditional extras and length-of-stay discounts may still change the provider’s final quote.
What the total includes
When an owner confirms the charges, the displayed stay total includes required fees and any entered taxes. Tax entry is optional. When no tax rate is entered, taxes may be additional at checkout. Cleaning and other per-stay charges are added once. Per-night charges scale with the stay length; extra-guest charges use the selected group size. Percentage fees apply to rent, or rent plus fixed required fees, as entered by the owner. Taxes apply to rent and any fees marked taxable. Optional extras and refundable deposits are listed separately.
Owners can use different fee rules for each booking channel, reuse their direct rules, or confirm that required fees are already included in an entered nightly rate. Markup-based channels use the direct fee rules by default, including imported cleaning fees and any entered tax rules. Owners can override those rules for channel-specific charges, or mark a channel’s fees unconfirmed. Manual channel prices require their own fee confirmation. Channel-specific charges may differ at checkout. Wayvilo does not assume any OTA service fee or tax rate. A listing marked “Fees not confirmed” may still be missing charges; savings badges appear only when the compared totals have confirmed fee rules. A blank tax field does not block submission or savings badges.
For owners and managers
Enter a base direct booking price per night, then add a percentage markup for each linked channel, such as Vrbo, Airbnb or Booking.com. Wayvilo calculates the channel prices for you. For example, $185/night plus an 18% Airbnb markup is $218.30/night. Markups are added to the base price, not treated as commission deductions. You can enter a channel price manually when it does not follow a fixed percentage. Enter the actual base nightly rate, rather than dividing a checkout total by a set number of nights. Use comparable dates, guest counts and booking terms across channels, and enter mandatory fees in the fee editor. Tax entry is optional; add a rate only when known. Do not use a low-season direct rate alongside a peak-season channel rate.
Only enter prices you can support on the booking site. Leave unknown channel prices blank. You can import the base rate and channel markups with property details in a CSV, or enter them in your listing workspace. Photos and manual channel price overrides are added in the workspace. Calculations round channel prices to the nearest cent and update when you change the base rate. A blank markup leaves that channel price unknown; 0% means the same price as direct.
Pricing accuracy and listing rules
Update your listing whenever booking prices change, and review prices regularly even when they stay the same. Use accurate prices for the same stay across every channel.
Wayvilo reserves the right to remove listings that are not updated regularly or show signs of intentionally understated pricing. Repeated offenses may result in a temporary ban from listing on Wayvilo.

If a listing’s price differs substantially from the booking provider’s, use the Help Center to report it for review. Include the Wayvilo listing link, provider link, dates, guest count, and both prices with their fees and taxes. Seasonal changes or different stay lengths can explain some differences; details help us check the comparison fairly.
