A LITTLE HELP GOES A LONG WAY

How can we help?

Answers for travelers, organizers and the companies behind the homes.

Read our pricing rules for nightly entry, five-night comparisons and listing accuracy.

Do I need an account to browse?

You can search homes, compare rentals, read travel tips and view public company and traveler profiles without signing in. Sign in to save homes, create trips, vote, comment or upload photos.

Are the prices and savings live?

Owners and managers provide a base rate and channel markups or individual nightly rates; Wayvilo does not sync them live. Browsing cards show a five-night direct total including entered mandatory fees and taxes. Savings compare with the cheapest linked booking site whose fees are confirmed, so the savings shown are never overstated. Choose 1–90 nights on the comparison page to update totals, savings and per-person costs. Saved and shared plans remember that length. Property pages and comparisons also show the average price per night. Confirm current dates, rates, mandatory charges and terms on the booking site. Read the full rules at /pricing.

What if a listing’s price is very different from checkout?

Report the listing using the request form below and choose Pricing report. Include the Wayvilo property link, booking-site link, dates, guest count and both prices with their fees and taxes. We can review a large discrepancy fairly when the prices refer to the same stay.

How should I enter and maintain my prices?

Enter a base direct nightly price in USD and a percentage markup for each linked channel. Wayvilo calculates the channel rates; use manual entry for exceptions. Markups are added to the base, not treated as commission deductions. Enter the actual base nightly rate; enter mandatory fees in the fee editor. Tax entry is optional; a blank tax rate does not block submission or savings badges. Do not divide a five-night checkout total to create the base rate. Update prices whenever they change and review them regularly. Wayvilo may remove listings with neglected or intentionally understated prices. Repeated offenses may result in a temporary listing ban. Full rules: /pricing.

Does a trip plan reserve a home?

No. Our Plans is your group’s shared trip hub. Book direct opens the rental company’s website, where you confirm availability, reserve the property and pay. Wayvilo does not process rental payments.

How do comparisons and saved homes differ?

Add up to four homes to the compare board to review costs, sleeping layouts and amenity differences. Save homes with the heart to keep a personal collection. Share a comparison link for discussion and voting, then start a trip hub for the home you choose.

How do I invite my travelers?

The organizer opens Invite your group from the Travelers section. Send the link using your device, WhatsApp, email, or Copy link. People with that link can sign in and join. Adding a name creates a planning placeholder, not an email invitation or an account. The organizer can replace the invitation link to stop the old link from accepting new members.

What does “what you owe” mean?

It is the net amount in your group’s shared expense notes. Add the actual rental total and shared expenses, choose who paid and who participates, and record reimbursements made elsewhere. Wayvilo does not collect, hold, transfer or verify money.

Who can see my photos and trip notes?

Trip conversations, check-in notes, expense records and the shared album are visible to joined trip members. Your bio, social links, profile images and featured photos are public. Past-trip summaries are hidden unless you enable them in Edit profile. New account photo uploads stay private unless you feature them. Photos uploaded to a property’s guest gallery are public. Only publish photos you have permission to share.

How does my company appear on Wayvilo?

Create a company profile and add your property details, rates and photos. Complete new listings from verified companies publish directly; other new listings need review. On live listings, price, amenity and description updates publish when you save. Until your company is verified, new photos, booking links, the name or the address are checked by Wayvilo first, and the current version stays live meanwhile. Request company verification from the owner workspace. Published homes appear in discovery and on your company page. Travelers book on your own website.

Can I update a published property?

Open the property workspace, update its details or prices, and save. Complete changes to published listings go live without re-approval. You can also update several properties by re-importing a CSV with the same property references. Take listing offline removes a property from discovery while keeping your draft.

Can other companies contribute travel tips?

Yes. Add your company, then open Manage travel tips in your owner hub. Choose a category, then write a full article for Wayvilo and link any published homes it mentions. Approved articles appear in the shared Travel Tips collection with your company credited.

How does sign-in work?

Sign in to Wayvilo with your email and password. Your saves and contributions are tied to that account. You can reset a forgotten password on the sign-in page. You can sign out from the Account menu and download your records from your account page.

How do I report a problem or request a data change?

Sign in and use the request form below. Include the page link and enough detail to understand the issue. Requests are saved to your account and our replies appear here. Wayvilo can’t help with emergencies. Contact the rental company directly for reservation or arrival issues.
